CITY ON THE HILL GAME PLAYING RULES

 

1. All games will be played in two (2) twenty (20) minute halves – running time with exception of the last minute of each half which will be stop-clock.

 

2. Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full timeouts and one (1) thirty-second timeout during the regulation game.

 

3. 1st Overtime period will be 1 minute. All subsequent OT periods will be “sudden death” – 1st team that scores wins.

 

4. There will be a three (3) minute rest period between halves.

 

5. Players will be allowed 6 fouls. NFHS rules will be strictly enforced regarding language, trash talk and showing up other players. Any player ejected from a game will be required to sit the next game. 

 

6. Players will shoot 1 shot on all shooting fouls worth 2 or 3 points. Players will shoot 1 shot on all and 1 shooting fouls and will shoot bonus (1 for 2) after the 10th team foul. There will be NO double-bonus in any game.

 

7. Substitution breaks will occur every 5 minutes. All players must play a minimum of half of each game.
